about madeapt.A NOTE FROM NINA.

Nina, founder of MadeApt

Hi, I'm Nina, founder of MadeApt.

The first five years of my life were spent during the Yugoslav war. The safest world I knew was the one my mum described to me in stories.

One day I found a small polka dot tutu skirt hidden in her closet. It was in my size. And somehow, to me, that skirt became proof that the world my mum talked about really existed.

That's what I want MadeApt to be.

Evidence that the world can still be tailored for you.

Because somewhere along the way, clothing stopped being personal. Tailors disappeared. Designers were pushed into impossible production cycles. And the rest of us were taught that if something didn't fit, our bodies were the problem.

But clothing has never just been utility.

It's how we express identity, culture, confidence, softness, ambition, grief, joy, and change. It's one of the most human things we make.

MadeApt started with a simple idea: what if custom clothing felt accessible again?

For the past two years, we've been building relationships with skilled tailors and makers across the world, people exceptional at their craft. MadeApt exists to connect people with them through a more modern, approachable design experience.

You can start with a reference image, an idea, or a silhouette you've always wanted but could never quite find. From there, we help shape it into something wearable, personal, and made to your measurements.

No mass production. No generic sizing. No pretending everyone was built the same.

Just clothing designed around people again.

The platform is still growing, but the doors are open. Come explore, design something, or simply see what becomes possible when fashion starts with you instead of a size chart.
